How many of you ever go travelling abroad? If you have not, why do not you try it.
Travel abroad is a fun activity, where we have fun, new experiences and create wonderful memories with family or friends. For some people it can bring peace of mind.
However, it can become chaotic if we do not plan for them properly. Many people do not know are travelling abroad also has its own risks that can result in all your plans will be affected.
Therefore, you should know what preparation you have to do. Here I have some common tips I use or do before, during, and after travel:
1. Create a itinerary and buy map or travel guide book
2. Check your passport (expiration date) and flight ticket
3. Check Overseas medical insurance coverage and get Travel Insurance
4. Scan / photocopy / take a picture your major documents (passport, visa, travel insurance)
and send to your email.
5. Make sure family or friends has your itinerary and passport data page
6. Find and save the address / telephone number foreign embassies, police and ambulance
7. Make sure you know the conditions and laws of the place you are traveling
8. Get medical advice / treatment / vaccinated / immunisations from a doctor before
travel
9. Pack of essential goods only when traveling
10. Avoid wearing or carrying valuables
11. Separate money / bank card different place in the bag / wallet / pocket
12. Take precautions to avoid being a target of crime
13. Don’t leave your belongings unattended in public spaces
14. Don’t trust strangers
15. Do not give alms to beggars, just donate money to a local charity
16. Bring a travel journal / note
17. Perform currency exchange before traveling
18. Come early to the airport before the time of check in.
19. Report your condition to family or friends on a daily basis
20. Report on the hotel / tourist guide / authorities if you are having trouble
